Spaceship Obama

Check out this video of Joe Biden finally being asked some real questions by a reporter. There was al link to YouTube but this links to the local news station's website. Something about copyright-pff. After the interview, the Obama campaign refused to do any more interviews with the station citing unprofessional reporting. Does it remind you at all of a grade school bully running to tell the teacher that someone finally stood up to him and exposed his inadequacies? Don't ask me those questions...I want softball questions about Obama's next speaking engagement. This is but a little taste of what we as Americans are in for with an Obama presidency.

This is the first time in the whole campaign that I have seen a reporter actually doing his/her job. Notice how defensive he gets when asked about socialism or Marxism. The problem is that these people on Spaceship Obama don't see themselves as Marxists or Socialists. Obama has apparently figured out how to stimulate the liberal medulla oblongata causing mass delusion and willfulness to buy his socialist snake oil. I agree with the comment on an earlier post by Choopes. She said, "I guess some Americans really would rather live under communism, just as long as we disguise it as a democracy." Call it willful ignorance.

It's amazing how two different people can watch the same interview and have such different thoughts about it. But the fact that we can is what makes America great.

I watched that video and actually felt embarrassed for the reporter. For a moment I totally expected Ashton Kutcher to come out and exclaim that Biden had just been Punk'd.

I have got to hand it to the right-wing spin machine, because they are doing their job of spreading fear...and there are enough gullible people out there that will believe everything Rush says as Gospel truth (my father-in-law is one of them).

Go to factcheck.org. It is a BRUTALLY honest website that breaks down claims by BOTH sides, exposing the truth. Both sides have spread lies and half-truths during this election.

Everyone needs to be educated, and not just by Rush, CNN, Hannity, e-mail forwards, etc...

Hitler once said something to the effect of this: How fortunate for leaders that people do not think. It is scary to think how many people out there will be voting based on rumors and fear and lies...and I am not naive enough to think that all of them fall under red or blue alone...the sea of uneducated masses is purple.

I hope this didn't come off as rude, I didn't mean it to. I am just VERY passionate about politics. :)

Holly, What fun would it be if we all agreed anyway? LOL. I am not a fan of either of our "real" choices for president but see a distict double standard in the way the two candidates campaigns are treated by the media.(Unfortunately an important part of the election) Imagine if Palin would have responded to questions in this manner. Be they rumors or not, people are entitled to hear the responses from the politicians that will politically and economically mold their lives. I agree with you that we should all be educated from different sources. I have not been listening to Hannity or Rush for the fact that I want to form my own opinions. I just feel that the media should be equally tough on both campaigns with the questions that people have. I thought the socialist/marxist question was one very valid and important question to ask.

If we all agreed it would definitley not be as entertaining, that's for sure!

I can't wait for this election to be OVER...it is getting tiring.
